The team coordinates logistics ahead of arrival, for example confirming power and connectivity needs before the session starts.

Is the recording studio in Bali available to book independently of a full-property stay?
The recording studio comes as part of a full-property buyout, or through an individual villa rental of Villa Underground, where the studio sits. Labels and producers booking the full resort gain access to the studio and every surrounding facility, giving the whole team a private space to create in for the length of the stay, whether that's a few days or an extended, multi-week residency. Producers booking Villa Underground individually gain private use of the studio itself, alongside the villa's own spaces.

Retreats
Can cultural excursions and tours be added to the itinerary?
Cultural excursions, along with a wider range of experiences, tours, and adventures, can be added to the itinerary as optional extras at a separate fee, alongside the on-site program. Sunrise hikes, temple visits, and village tours are the most common additions, typically scheduled around free time in the core retreat program.
Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Dietary requirements are accommodated through the on-site Bloom Kitchen chef team, who build menus directly around each group's specific needs. This covers plant-based diets, allergies, structured nutrition plans, and cleanses tied to a health-focused retreat, with menus adjusted across the stay as required.
Can you help promote my retreat?
Yes we can help promote your retreat. We support hosts with venue photography and content opportunities, and can co-promote aligned retreats through The Seed's social and email channels. Ask us when you enquire.
Do you help design the retreat schedule?
You can either run an independently designed program using the property's facilities, or work with our team to structure the schedule around available amenities, meal timing, and any planned excursions. Either approach keeps a single point of contact in place throughout planning, so the schedule can flex as the program develops.
How far in advance should a retreat be booked?
A retreat should be booked as early as possible, particularly for larger groups or peak season dates. Bali's dry season, from April through October, is generally the best window for retreats, with peak demand concentrated in July and August, and again from mid-December through early January. Since full-property buyouts reserve the entire estate for a single group, availability for buyout dates is limited to one booking per date range, so early confirmation secures the dates you want. Individual villa rentals carry separate availability.
Is the property suitable for corporate groups?
The property is well suited to corporate groups, hosting retreats and offsites. We have a wide range of facilities to deliver a memorable experience to your group.
Is the venue shared with other guests during a retreat?
Full-property bookings operate on a buyout basis, meaning your retreat group gains sole use of the entire property for the duration of the stay, with every wellness facility, dining space, and outdoor area reserved exclusively for your guests. Individual villa rentals give a smaller retreat group private use of selected villas and shared access to core property facilities alongside other guests on-site.
What does the venue rate include?
A full-property buyout rate includes exclusive use of the entire estate, three daily buffet-style meals at Bloom Kitchen, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and all core facilities (indoor and outdoor session spaces, spa, gym, pools, beach, basement, and games rooms), plus our on-site service team. An individual villa rental rate includes private use of the villa, with access to shared core facilities.
What is the minimum booking for a retreat?
The minimum booking for a retreat is three nights. Most hosts run 3 to 6 night formats, and we help you shape the schedule around arrival days, programming blocks, and free time.
Which amenities carry an additional fee?
Spa treatments, airport transfers, food and beverages, and a vast array of experiences and adventures are the main items that carry an additional fee. Core facilities, including the yoga shala, jungle gym, infrared sauna, and cold plunge, are included as standard in every full-property booking.
Business retreats
Can presentations or town halls run on-site?
Presentations and town halls run on-site through a large poolside screen and a basement cinema screen, both suited to group presentations, company-wide meetings, or larger corporate events across the retreat.
Can team building activities get arranged outside the property?
Team building activities get arranged outside the property as excursions, including snorkeling, hiking, and cultural visits, based on the group’s itinerary alongside outdoor activities and access to golf courses in the wider region, for a retreat memorable well beyond the meeting rooms. These excursions get charged separately from the venue hire fee, based on the specific activities and group size involved.
Does the venue offer meeting rooms?
The venue offers meeting rooms in the form of versatile meeting and event spaces spread across the property, plus private breakout rooms, alongside Wi-Fi and A/V technology throughout the site. The Seed includes everything a corporate offsite or executive retreat needs to run presentations, meetings, or team building events in one location.

This professional team delivers impeccable service and a stress-free experience, handling vendor coordination, styling, and timeline management for each destination wedding at The Seed.
How many guests can the venue hold for a wedding?
The venue holds up to 60 guests for a seated dinner reception, or up to 100 guests for a cocktail reception, with cocktails served across the ocean deck and beach bar. Overnight accommodation covers up to 21 guests on-site, positioning the venue for an intimate wedding or small wedding on a couple’s special day.
What is included in the wedding packages?
Wedding packages typically include venue buyout, bespoke wedding menus via Bloom Kitchen, styling and vendor coordination (including flowers and photography for the bride, groom, and full event) via Society Soiree, and full accommodation across the estate’s five villas. Curated packages are confirmed down to the last detail, per booking, and built around each couple’s ceremony format and guest count.
