Bloom Kitchen

Bloom Kitchen is the heart of the property’s culinary experiences, centred on seasonal, health-focused dining. The on-site private restaurant offers a culinary adventure built on locally sourced and sustainable ingredients, with menus crafted to emphasise health, freshness, and the diversity of produce across the Indonesian archipelago. Great care goes into sourcing, with the goal of building lasting relationships with local farmers, foragers, fishermen, and artisanal craftsmen.

Overnight guests are catered to daily as part of their stay, and the venue also accommodates event dining, with seated dinners for up to 60 guests and cocktail receptions for up to 100.

Dining for Overnight Guests

Guests staying at The Seed dine at Bloom Kitchen from a menu, with pricing available on request or via the downloadable menu. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout a stay, prepared by the on-site culinary team. The kitchen follows zero-waste practices and organic waste is composted to nourish the property’s gardens, and non-organic waste is recycled.

Megibung: Communal Dining

Bloom Kitchen also honors Megibung, a traditional communal dining practice originating from the Karangasem region of Bali. Loosely translated as “share with each other,” Megibung centres on food and conversation, and guests can take part in a Megibung dining experience as part of their stay.

All-Day Culinary Experiences

Culinary experiences are arranged for both full-property buyouts and individual villa bookings, and can be scheduled around a retreat itinerary, wedding day, or corporate programme.

Sunrise Breakfast

An early breakfast service arranged on the Ocean Deck, timed to catch the sun rising over the Bali Sea from Candidasa's east-facing coastline. Suited to early risers, or as an opening moment on a wedding day or the first morning of a retreat.

Floating Breakfast

Breakfast served on a floating tray in the Ocean Front Swimming Pool, for guests who want to eat while still in the water. Suited to a smaller group or a couple within a larger property stay, and arranged alongside the standard breakfast service at Bloom Kitchen.

Afternoon Light Bites

A selection of smaller dishes served through the afternoon, arranged poolside or on the Ocean Deck, suited to guests moving between activities rather than sitting down to a full meal.

Traditional Tea

A tea service featuring Chinese tea, served in the afternoon as a quieter alternative to a full meal, arranged on the Yoga Deck or Ocean Deck.

Shisha Experience

A shisha setup arranged in the evening, suited to a lounge setting such as the Beach Bar or one of the property's cocktail bars.

Sunset Cocktails & Canapés

An evening cocktail service paired with canapés from the Bloom Kitchen team, arranged as the sky turns over the mountain backdrop behind the property. Served at one of the resort's three cocktail bars or on the Ocean Deck, and suited to a pre-dinner gathering or a standalone evening segment within an event.

Beach Bar & Deck

Set on the property’s ocean deck, the Beach Bar serves cocktails alongside a fresh coconut bar, with private mixologists on hand and seating looking out over the water.

The Basement Cocktail Bar

Located within Villa Underground’s soundproof basement, this fully equipped cocktail bar operates as a speakeasy-style space, with a dedicated cocktail menu and mixologists available on request, set alongside the basement’s cinema, night club, and music recording studio. This can be accessed only for those who are booking Villa Underground.

The Rabbit Hole Private Bar

Attached to The Rabbit Hole’s games room, this private bar includes a dedicated wine fridge, with a personal bartender available on request for guests staying in the Rabbit Hole villa.

Kitchens in the Villas

Two of the five villas include fully equipped, private kitchens, in addition to Bloom Kitchen’s restaurant service. Guests have the option of full-service dining, communal Megibung-style meals, or preparing food independently during their stay.

Villa Underground

A large, fully equipped kitchen connects directly to the villa’s main living area, with a separate prep kitchen alongside it for additional counter space and food styling — suited to guests who want to prepare their own meals or snacks independently of Bloom Kitchen’s service.

Treehouse

The Treehouse’s ground floor is centred on a fully equipped kitchen and a seated dining area, with a swing built into the space. Guests staying in or visiting the Treehouse can prepare meals directly within the villa.

Dining Experiences For Events

For private events, our Culinary Director, Chef Dom, offers four distinct menu formats: canapés, two styles of family-style dining, and an elevated plated dinner suited to fine dining occasions.

Menus can be adjusted to suit dietary requirements and guest preferences. We strive for the highest quality of culinary experiences with locally sourced ingredients. Outside catering is also permitted, with full access to Bloom Kitchen’s fully equipped event kitchen.
