Filming & Production
A beachfront resort in Candidasa, East Bali, that works as a location — jungle, coastline and villa architecture inside one gated property.
The Site as a Set
The Seed hosts commercial shoots, TVCs, music videos, TV shows, films, documentaries, editorial and fashion photography, wedding shoots, and branded content. Jungle, coastline, and villa architecture sit within one gated property, giving a production coastal, jungle-canopy, and interior settings without moving off-site.
On-site settings available for filming and photography include the beach frontage, a pool with a five-metre diving platform, an oceanfront cinema space, an infrared sauna, and Bloom Kitchen, the estate's private restaurant serving dishes built from estate-grown produce. A jungle gym and yoga shala add athletic and lifestyle backdrops for brand, fitness, and lifestyle videos and photography. Every space sits inside the same gated estate, which keeps a production or photoshoot contained.

The Recording Studio
The Seed houses a 90-square-metre subterranean recording and performance studio, fully soundproofed and built for musicians and producers. Artists can track vocals, record an album, mix, and rehearse in the same space, with the estate's villas and amenities on hand for extended sessions. The studio suits recording projects, band rehearsals, and private listening sessions, and doubles as a practical setting for behind-the-scenes and promotional footage tied to a recording project.

Accommodation for Cast and Crew
Overnight capacity on the estate runs up to 21 guests across the five villas, with many more rooms available at surrounding properties for larger productions. This structure lets a production house the core creative team, including the director or photographer, talent, DP, and producer on-site, while accommodating a larger crew nearby without breaking the shoot’s proximity to set. Daily meals and wellness amenities are available on-site, which supports multi-day shoots where cast and crew need a controlled, focused environment between calls.

Capacity for Production Events
Beyond the shoot itself, the estate supports wrap parties, launch events, and listening sessions tied to a production. The venue seats 60 guests for a formal dinner and holds up to 100 for a cocktail-style reception, giving productions a built-in space to mark a wrap or host a media preview without relocating.

Booking the Estate for Production
Production and photography bookings run through a full-property buyout, which secures exclusive access to all five villas, the beach, pools, kitchen, and recording studio for the shoot's duration. This arrangement gives a production the privacy and control a set requires with closed access, predictable scheduling, and a single point of coordination for the property team. Teams planning a multi-day shoot, brand campaign, or artist residency should reach out directly to discuss dates, crew numbers, and site access requirements.

The 90-square-metre soundproofed studio functions as both a filming location and a working recording space, suited to music videos, live session footage, and behind-the-scenes content.
Does the estate work for sunset or golden-hour shoots?
Candidasa's coastline faces east, so sunrise shots generally read best over open water, while sunset and golden-hour light generally falls toward the inland mountain backdrop rather than the sea.
