Helicopter Tours & Private Charters
The Seed arranges private helicopter charters from Benoa Heliport, with experienced pilots and new aircraft. See the island from above, from cliffs and turquoise seas to rice terraces and volcanic peaks, on a flight built around your group, your itinerary and the moments you want to capture.

UNESCO Rice Terrace Helicopter Tour
- Guests
- Up to 6
Take a captivating helicopter journey over Bali's iconic natural wonders. The flight opens over Bedugul, a highland region known for its cooler climate and dense tropical greenery, before reaching Lake Beratan, a volcanic crater lake often wrapped in early morning mist, with the multi-tiered Ulun Danu Beratan Temple rising from its shoreline.
From there, the route soars above the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, one of the largest and best-preserved rice terrace systems on the island and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for the centuries-old subak irrigation network that shapes the landscape into cascading green tiers down the hillside. Seen from the air, the terraces unfold in sweeping curves that are almost impossible to appreciate at ground level, offering a genuinely different perspective on one of Bali's most photographed landscapes, and one of the more rewarding stretches for photos on any of our tours.
Flight Route: Departing from Benoa Heliport, you'll fly over Bedugul, Lake Beratan, and the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, before returning to Benoa Heliport.

Nusa Islands Helicopter Tour
- Guests
- Up to 6
Discover Bali's beauty and take to the sky and marvel at the beauty of Bali's Nusa Islands on this private aerial helicopter ride. The flight departs Benoa Heliport and traces the coastline past Sanur before reaching Nusa Lembongan, where Devil's Tears, a dramatic blowhole where waves crash against the cliffside comes into view from an angle few visitors ever see.
From there, the route continues over the Yellow Bridge, the narrow suspension crossing connecting Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Ceningan, before reaching Nusa Penida. This stretch is the highlight of the flight: Broken Beach, a natural rock arch enclosing a turquoise lagoon; Kelingking Beach, whose cliff formation is instantly recognizable from above; and Manta Point, a known gathering spot for manta rays in the waters below, sometimes visible circling just beneath the surface. The tour concludes back at Benoa Heliport, having covered in half an hour what would otherwise take a full day of island-hopping by boat.
Flight Route: Departing from Benoa Heliport, you'll soar over Sanur before exploring the highlights of Nusa Lembongan, including Devil's Tears. Continue to Nusa Ceningan to view the Yellow Bridge, then venture over Nusa Penida to take in Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach, and Manta Point, before returning to Benoa Heliport.

Mount Batur Sky Tour
A round trip from Benoa Heliport, this tour flies over Mount Batur, an active volcano rising above the Kintamani highlands and one of Bali's most visited natural landmarks, known on the ground for its sunrise trekking routes and the surrounding coffee and clove plantations. The flight continues over Lake Kintamani (Lake Batur), the crescent-shaped crater lake at the volcano's base, before passing above Ubud's dense green canopy and rice fields, and finishing over Tanah Lot — the iconic sea temple perched on a rock formation just offshore, one of Bali's most recognized coastal landmarks.
Guests take in the island's volcanic interior, its cultural heart, and its coastline, a route that would otherwise mean hours of separate road trips strung together, seen instead as one continuous, unbroken journey from the air.

Uluwatu Coastline Sky Tour
A round trip from Benoa Heliport, soaring over Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically on a clifftop nearly 70 metres above the Indian Ocean and one of Bali's six key directional temples. The flight continues past the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Statue, one of the tallest statues in the world, depicting the Hindu deity Vishnu riding the mythical Garuda before finishing over Jimbaran Beach, known for its calm bay, white sand, and seafood warungs along the shoreline.
It's the shortest tour on offer, but covers some of South Bali's most dramatic coastal scenery from an angle that's simply not available from the clifftop viewpoints themselves — a fast, striking way to see the island's southern peninsula in full.

Mount Rinjani Sky Tour
For guests chasing a genuine bucket list flight, this round trip crosses the Lombok Strait to Mount Rinjani, Indonesia's second-highest volcano and the centrepiece of a national park on the neighbouring island of Lombok. The flight passes above the volcano's rugged, exposed ridgelines before reaching Segara Anak, the crescent-shaped crater lake formed within Rinjani's caldera, with its own smaller volcanic cone rising from the water, a sight typically reserved for multi-day trekkers who summit on foot.
It's the longest tour on offer and the only one to leave Bali entirely, crossing open water to a different island altogether. For guests with the time and appetite for it, it's an incredible adventure and a rare opportunity to see one of Indonesia's most striking volcanic landscapes without the multi-day hike.

Helicopter Transfers
For guests short on time, or looking for a smoother start or end to their trip, The Seed also arranges helicopter transfers between the property and Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), as well as selected helipads in Denpasar and the Bukit Peninsula. Rather than facing Bali's often heavy road traffic, guests can move between destinations in a fraction of the time, making this a practical option at the start or end of a longer stay, or when connecting to another part of the island on short notice.
